Muna IslandMuna Island is an island with an area of approximately 2,890 km² located in the Sulawesi region of Indonesia. 1.       From Kendari (Capital of Southeast Sulawesi)

•          Plane: You can take a flight from Kendari to Sugimanuru Airport in West Muna (if available).

•          Ship: From Kendari Port, take a ferry to Raha Port. This journey takes about 4-5 hours.

2.       From Makassar

•          Plane: Fly from Makassar to Kendari, then continue to Muna by ship or domestic flight (if available).

•          Ship: You can take a PELNI ship from Makassar to Raha, although the travel time is longer (around 12-15 hours).

3.       From Baubau (Buton Island)

•          Ferry or Speedboat: From Baubau Port, ferries and speedboats are available to Raha, with a travel time of about 2-3 hours.

How to Get to Buton Island:

1.       By Air

•          The main airport on Buton Island is Betoambari Airport (BUW) in Baubau City.

•          Flights are available from Makassar, Kendari, or Jakarta with airlines such as Wings Air or Citilink (depending on flight schedules).

•          An alternative is Haluoleo Airport (KDI) in Kendari, then continue the journey by ship or overland.

2.       By Sea

•          From Kendari to Baubau, you can take a fast boat or ferry (travel time around 4–6 hours).

•          From Makassar or Raha (Muna), PELNI ships are available with certain schedules that stop in Baubau.

•          From Tampo Port (Muna) to Amolengo Port (Southeast Sulawesi), there is a vehicle ferry.

3.       By Land and Sea (via Kendari)

•          From Kendari City, you can take a bus or travel car to Amolengo Port, then cross to Labuan Port on Buton Island using a ferry.

•          After arriving on Buton Island, the journey to Baubau or other areas in Buton can be continued by land vehicle.
